Maintenance Windows: Suppressing Planned-Work Alerts

Avoid false pages during planned work
A maintenance window tells Merlonix not to send external notifications while you are doing planned work, so a deliberate change does not look like an outage. Set them up under Settings → Maintenance windows.
Creating a window
- Choose one-time (a specific start and end) or weekly recurring (a day of week and time, in UTC).
- Scope it tenant-wide (all assets) or to a single asset.
- Toggle a window active or inactive without deleting it, and edit it in place.
What it does
While a window is active, alerts on the covered assets are still recorded and visible in your dashboard — only the outbound notifications (email, SMS, Slack, etc.) are muted. When the window ends, normal alerting resumes automatically.
