Add a Custom Domain to Your Status Page
Serve your status page on your own domain
With the White-Label add-on, you can serve any status page on a subdomain you own (for example status.yourcompany.com) with an automatically provisioned SSL certificate — no Merlonix branding.
Before you start
- Your workspace must be on the Agency plan or higher.
- The White-Label add-on must be enabled (see What is the White-Label add-on?). If it is not, the Custom domain card shows an Enable the White-Label add-on button instead of the setup form.
Step 1 — add the custom domain
- Go to Status pages and open the status page you want to brand.
- In the Custom domain card, enter the subdomain you want to use (e.g.
status.yourcompany.com) and save.
Step 2 — point your domain (CNAME)
The card shows a target like:
status.yourcompany.com → status-saas.merlonix.com
Add a CNAME record at your DNS provider from your subdomain to that target. Use the Copy target button to avoid typos.
Step 3 — SSL validation
If an SSL validation records block appears, add those DNS records too. Merlonix uses HTTP domain validation through Cloudflare for SaaS, so in most cases the single CNAME above is enough and the certificate is issued automatically.
Validation can take a few minutes after the DNS records propagate. Use Check status to refresh. When the badge reads Active, your custom domain is live and serving over HTTPS.
After the add-on lapses
An already-attached custom domain stays manageable (you can view or remove it) even if the add-on later lapses. Attaching a new custom domain requires the add-on to be active.
