Webhooks for Monitoring Events

webhookseventsintegrationsignatureautomationapi

Get events pushed to your systems

Beyond notification channels, Merlonix can POST a signed payload to your own endpoints whenever a monitoring event happens — useful for feeding a ticketing system, a data warehouse, or custom automation. Manage them under Settings → Webhooks.

Adding a webhook

  1. Add a destination URL.
  2. Subscribe it to the events you care about, for example: cert.renewed, cert.expiring_30d, cert.expiring_7d, dns.changed, incident.created, incident.resolved, alert.fired, and alert.suppressed.
  3. Save. You can toggle a destination active or inactive without deleting it, and use Test to send a sample event.

Verifying payloads

Each webhook has a signing secret. Merlonix signs every POST and sends the signature in the X-Merlonix-Signature header — verify it against the secret so you can trust the payload is genuinely from Merlonix. The destination also shows a recent failure count so you can spot a broken endpoint.
