GitHub MCP server
Reachable · auth requiredGitHub’s official remote MCP server: repositories, issues, pull requests, code search, and Actions. Needs a GitHub credential.
Last checked by Merlonix at Jul 7, 2026, 09:40 PM UTC with a real Model Context Protocol handshake. This is a point-in-time check, not real-time — check GitHub live now.
Live health check
What Merlonix observed when it opened a real MCP session with GitHub — the transport, protocol generation, authentication posture, and (for open servers) the callable tool inventory.
https://api.githubcopilot.com/mcp/GitHubanswered but requires a credential (401/403), so Merlonix couldn’t read its tool inventory behind the auth wall. That is normal and healthy for a production server — it means the endpoint is live and gated. Add your token in the live checker for a full behind-the-auth report.
Embed a live health badge
Add a live, self-updating MCP health badge to GitHub’s README or docs. It re-checks on load (cached ~10 min) and links back to this page.

</a>Monitor your own MCP server around the clock.
This page is a one-time check. Merlonix is the first uptime monitor that speaks MCP — it opens a real handshake on a schedule, alerts you the moment a server goes down or an auth wall appears, and flags silent tool-contract drift that would break the agents calling it.
