How to Set Up SSL Monitoring

Adding an asset for SSL monitoring

1. Go to Assets in the left sidebar
2. Click New asset
3. Enter the hostname (e.g. api.mycompany.com)
4. Enable SSL monitoring
5. Choose your check interval (minimum 15 minutes)

What does Merlonix check?

On every SSL check, Merlonix fetches the current certificate and compares it against the last known state:

• Certificate fingerprint
• Issuer CN and organization
• Subject Alternative Names (SANs)
• Key algorithm and size
• Signature algorithm
• Validity period (not_before, not_after)

All changes are classified by our AI agent as either harmless (routine renewal) or material (requires attention).
